EVSE Australis is excited to announce that we are the first EV Charging supplier to be accepted on the ACT Governments Sustainable household scheme, which gives eligible ACT residents the ability to access zero-interest loans of between $2,000 to $15,000 to help with the upfront costs of investing in energy efficient home upgrades. The scheme will help provide ACT EV Charging stations to help promote the uptake of clean energy and zero emission e-mobility.

Products that will be included under the Scheme include:

  • Rooftop solar panels
  • Household battery storage systems
  • Electric heating and cooling systems
  • Hot Water Heat Pumps (HWHP)
  • Electric stove tops
  • Electric vehicles
  • Electric vehicle charging infrastructure
  • Installation costs for these products.

The interest free loan can cover the cost of one, or a combination of the above products, and is currently in a pilot phase for those ACT residents who had previously indicated an interest, prior to a full-scale launch set for a later date.

Loans will be offered by Brighte, our partner and loan provider for the Scheme. The loans must be repaid over 10 years and the scheme will be open to new applications for five years.
